Told is a professional memoir service based in Dublin. We sit with your elder, conduct a deep two-hour interview, and transform what they share into a beautifully edited narrative — delivered as a physical hardcover volume and a digital heirloom.

Anyone who wants to preserve the voice of someone important to them — a grandparent, parent, or great-grandparent — before time makes it impossible. Our clients are typically adult children or grandchildren who want to give something genuinely meaningful.

One of our writers will sit with your elder — either via video call or in person — for approximately two hours. The session is conversational, not formal. We follow the story wherever it leads. Most people tell us the person being interviewed says it was one of the best conversations they've ever had.

The Remote tier includes a curated digital heirloom — a beautifully typeset PDF narrative, professionally edited and ready to share or print. The Bespoke tier adds a hand-bound linen hardcover volume, professional portrait photography, and an audio archive of the session.

From your session to your finished heirloom, typically four to six weeks. We take the editing seriously — this isn't a transcript.

Sessions can be rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance at no charge. We understand that life — especially with elders — can be unpredictable, and we handle every situation with care.
